Members of the New Orleans Police Department are investigating a homicide today (April 30, 2022) that left a 32-year-old male dead. The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of family members. The offense on occurred at around 4:53 p.m. in the 3400 block of Garden Oaks Drive.

Today (April 29, 2022), the NOPD arrested Jason Paul Porche (pictured, white male, DOB: 09-20-1980) in the investigation of a homicide on April 25, 2022, in the 2100 block of Julia Street.

The NOPD is seeking assistance in locating a subject for questioning in the ongoing investigation of a homicide that occurred on April 17, 2022, in the 2600 block of Allen Street.

The NOPD is requesting assistance from the public in locating and identifying a suspect in the ongoing investigation of an aggravated battery by shooting that occurred on April 24, 2022, in the 8200 block of Chef Menteur Highway.

Today (April 27, 2022), the NOPD arrested Donell E. Barthelemy (pictured, black male, DOB: 08-19-2003) in the investigation of two separate homicides – one occurring on September 30, 2021, in the 2400 block of Ursulines Avenue and the other occurring on April 26, 2022, in the 400 block of Burgundy Street
