The NOPD remains diligent in making arrests of perpetrators who are committing auto burglaries across the city, including an arrest this morning (January 31, 2020) where numerous firearms and other items were confiscated.

NOPD Identifies, Locates Suspect in Fourth District Simple Robbery

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Julien Demone Hardin (pictured, DOB; 06-08-1986) in the investigation of a simple robbery that occurred in the 4000 block of Behrman Highway on January 28, 2020. Hardin is currently being detained in St. Bernard Parish on unrelated out-of-state charges, but has reportedly confessed to the Orleans Parish incident.

The NOPD in collaboration with the New Orleans Police and Justice Foundation, Arnaud’s Restaurant and several other community partners announced the donation of over 3,000 teddy bears for the Sixth Annual Teddy Bear Program.
