The NOPD’s Violent Offender Warrant Squad and the U.S. Marshals today (August 4, 2021) arrested Darrell Smith (pictured, black male, DOB: 05-30-2002) in the investigation of an armed robbery on July 23, 2021 in the 6100 block of Chatham Drive.

On June 23, 2021, the NOPD’s Violent Offender Warrant Squad and the U.S. Marshals arrested Sharod Williams (pictured, black male, DOB: 05-01-1985) in the investigation of a homicide that occurred on April 30, 2021 in the 1100 block of Verret Street.

The NOPD Police Activity League (PAL) is partnering with Inspire NOLA to bring the youth and the police together for fun, friendly competition during a series of basketball games set to take place this summer.

The NOPD's Violent Offender Warrant Squad and the U.S. Marshals today (June 11, 2021) arrested Bryan M. Andry (black male, DOB: 03-01-1974), who was wanted for second-degree murder in the homicide of Portia Pollack that occurred on June 8, 2021 in the 1500 block of North Dorgenois Street.

Today (June 4, 2021), the NOPD has arrested David H. Wisham Sr. (pictured, black male, DOB: 11-28-1980) and Kenneth W. Jones Jr. (pictured, black male, DOB: 12-27-1978) in the investigation of a double homicide that occurred on December 16, 2013 in the 12100 block of North I-10 Service Road.
