NOPD Investigating Homicide in Seventh District

Members of the New Orleans Police Department are investigating a homicide that left two 20- year-old men dead and also left a 20-year-old man and an unknown man injured. The names of the deceased are being withheld pending notification of family members. The offense occurred at the intersection of Hayne Boulevard and Vincent Street.

The NOPD’s Violent Offender Warrant Squad today (March 25, 2022) arrested Jahari J. Levy Sr. (pictured, black male, DOB: 01-06-1985) in the NOPD Fifth District’s investigation of a December 26, 2021 aggravated battery by shooting incident in the 1300 block of Lesseps Street.
