An unknown black male armed with a black semi-automatic handgun robbed the Uptown Beauty store at 8244 South Claiborne Avenue today (Oct. 21), and the NOPD is asking for assistance in identifying and locating this suspect.

NOPD Sixth District officers today (Oct. 21) arrested Brandon Wilfred (DOB: 11-13-1990) in connection with an armed robbery that occurred in the 1300 block of Coliseum Street on Oct. 11.
