Suspect Arrested in NOPD Homicide Investigation

The NOPD announces the arrest of Jerroy Johnson (black male, DOB: 03-01-2005) in its investigation of a homicide that occurred on June 22, 2025, in the 5600 block of Morrison Road, as well as for a shooting incident that occurred on June 1, 2025, in the 7200 block of Morrison Road.

NOPD Seventh District officers along with the New Orleans FBI Gang Task Force took Nathaniel Freeman, DOB 3/25/2008, into custody in connection with two separate shootings and an armed robbery.
