Officer Jason Collins and Joel Smith Named Bardell Co. Officers Of The Month

Eighth District officers Jason Collins & Joel Smith were both named Bardell Co. Officers of the Month this January. Collins and Smith were both nominated by their supervisors in the Eighth District for their proactive work while patrolling and making numerous arrests in the Bourbon Street area.

The NOPD, in partnership with Arnaud’s Restaurant/French 75 Bar and the New Orleans Police & Justice Foundation, collected more than 1,500 teddy bears and other plush animals as a part of the third annual Teddy Bear Drive.
