The NOPD is investigating an incident that occurred this evening (December 4, 2024) at the intersection of Basin and Saint Louis streets where an NOPD officer discharged their firearm toward a suspect.

In accordance with its critical incident review policy, the NOPD today (November 22, 2024) released body-worn camera footage related to an officer-involved shooting that occurred on Saturday, October 5, 2024, in the 3100 block of North Tonti Street.
