The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a fatal traffic accident that occurred today, (September 4, 2026) at the intersection of Gentilly Boulevard & Norman Mayer Avenue that left a 14-year-old Male dead.
Through further investigation, NOPD Traffic Fatality Unit investigators determined that the victim who was riding an electric mini bike collied with a pick-up truck at the intersection.
EMS arrived on scene where the victim was declared deceased.
The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and cooperating with the investigation.
