Suspect Wanted For Aggravated Burglary

New Orleans Police are asking the public's assistance with identifying a suspect wanted for aggravated burglary.

According to investigators, the victim was asleep in his apartment in the 7200 block of Chef Menteur Highway on September 1, 2024.  He was awakened at about 6:30 a.m. when he was struck multiple times by the pictured unknown suspect wielding an unknown object. Once the victim was subdued, the unknown suspect stole property from the apartment. The property included the keys to the victim's vehicle, the pictured red-color Chevrolet 4-door sedan with a temporary tag. The suspect then fled by driving away in the victim's vehicle. A check of the apartment showed the suspect had apparently forced open the door in order to gain entry to the apartment.

Anyone with information about the crime or the suspect is asked to call Seventh District detectives at 504-658-6070 or to anonymously call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111.
