New Orleans Police are asking the public's assistance with locating a suspect wanted for aggravated assault with a firearm and battery of a dating partner.
Wanted is Sylvest Adeyemi (pictured), Black male, DOB 04/19/1996.
According to investigators, on September 22, 2024 in the 3700 block of Orleans Avenue, Sylvest Adeyemi and his dating partner were involved in a physical altercation. During the altercation, an additional person attempted to intervene. Sylvest Adeyemi then threatened Victim 2 with a firearm and struck Victim 1 several times with the firearm before fleeing.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Sylvest Adeyemi is asked to call First District detectives at 504-658-6010 or to anonymously call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111.
