New Orleans Police are asking the public's assistance with locating a suspect wanted for two counts of aggravated assault with a firearm.
Wanted is Elvin Collins, Jr. (pictured), Black male, DOB 05/13/1967, height 6' 0", and weight 145 pounds.
According to investigators, around 7:40 a.m. on August 20, 2024 in the 7200 block of Benson Court Elvin Collins, Jr. threatened two victims with a firearm when they approached the suspect wanting payment for work done.
Anyone with information about the crime or the location of the suspect is asked to call Seventh District detectives at 505-658-6070 or to anonymously call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111.
