Wanted Suspect Identified in Fourth District Armed Robbery

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Deijon Thomas (pictured, black female, DOB: 10-23-1996, 5’5” 128 pounds) in the investigation of an armed robbery incident that occurred on September 23, 2022, in the 3600 block of MacArthur Boulevard.

Through investigation, NOPD Fourth District detectives have determined that at approximately 7:00 p.m. on September 23, Thomas transported the victim via Thomas’ vehicle (white Nissan Altima with a temporary license tag) to the 3600 block of MacArthur Blvd. At that time, Thomas allegedly asked the victim for money, to which the victim reportedly refused. Thomas then allegedly retrieved a handgun from her purse and demanded the victim’s cash. The victim complied and exited the vehicle. Thomas then reportedly fled in her vehicle. Three children were reportedly present when the incident occurred.

When located, Thomas shall be arrested on one count of armed robbery (use of a Firearm) and three counts of domestic abuse battery (child endangerment)

Anyone with additional information on this incident or on Deijon Thomas’ whereabouts is urged to contact NOPD Fourth District detectives at 504-658-6040 or call anonymously to Crimestoppers of Greater New Orleans at 504-822-1111 or toll-free 1-877-903-STOP.
