Suspect Identified by NOPD in Fourth District Domestic Aggravated Burglary

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Lemar Harris (pictured, black male, DOB: 10-02-1993) in the investigation of a domestic aggravated burglary incident on September 3, 2022, in the 2000 block of Pace Boulevard.

Through investigation, NOPD Fourth District detectives have positively identified Harris as the perpetrator who reportedly broke into the residence of the known female victim, produced a firearm and pointed it at the victim while the victim held a toddler child. Harris then allegedly committed a battery on the victim before fleeing the scene.

When located, Harris will be charged with domestic aggravated burglary, domestic abuse battery, criminal damage to property and felon in possession of a firearm. He is also wanted on a separate charge of domestic abuse battery and is on parole out of Kenner, La.
