Wanted Suspects Identified in Fourth District Shooting Investigation

The NOPD has obtained arrest warrants for Frank Fradella III (pictured, white male, DOB: 06-17-1977) and April Conaway (pictured, white female, DOB: 07-24-1980) in the investigation of an aggravated battery by shooting on September 2, 2021 in the 1700 block of Lauradale Street.

Through investigation, NOPD Fourth District detectives determined that the victim was inside his residence, where he lived with the suspects. The victim was reportedly in his bedroom when the suspects entered the room. The victim and Fradella allegedly engaged in a verbal argument, at which time, Fradella reportedly  produced a firearm and shot the victim in the arm. The victim later relocated to the hospital for treatment. Both subjects were positively identified as the perpetrators of the incident.

When located, Fradella III will be arrested for aggravated second-degree battery, while Conaway will be arrested for accessory after the fact to aggravated second-degree battery and obstruction of justice.
