NOPD Identifies Wanted Suspect in Domestic Aggravated Assault with Firearm in Fourth District

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Roy Eugene Hilton (pictured, black male, DOB: 09-26-1997, 5’9”, 157 pounds) in the investigation of a domestic aggravated assault with a firearm incident on Sept. 2, 2021 in the 4500 block of MacArthur Boulevard.

At approximately 9:15 p.m. on Sept. 2, Hilton was allegedly involved in a dispute with a family member (Victim 1) and struck the victim in the face with a closed fist. Hilton then reportedly left the location and returned a short time later armed with a rifle. Hilton then reportedly pointed the weapon at the victim and threatened to shoot the victim. At that time, a second family member intervened, and Hilton allegedly pointed the firearm at that victim and threatened to shoot them. Hilton then reportedly fled the location in an unknown vehicle.

When located, HIlton will be arrested for aggravated assault with a firearm, domestic abuse aggravated assault and simple battery.
