Wanted Suspect Sought in Fourth District Aggravated Battery, Aggravated Assault

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Jamriyale Perry (pictured, DOB: 03-22-1995) in the investigation of an aggravated battery and aggravated assault with a firearm that occurred on September 24, 2020 in the 3200 block of Rue Parc Fontaine.

Through investigation, NOPD Fourth District detectives determined that Perry arrived in the parking lot of an apartment complex where the victims were located. After Victim #1 exited a building, a male subject accompanied by Perry allegedly approached the victim and began entered into a physical altercation with Victim #1. The male subject then reportedly brandished a handgun and struck Victim #1 on the head with the weapon. When a family member of Victim #1 intervened, Perry reportedly approached that family member, brandished a handgun and struck the family member on the head with the weapon. After a second family member intervened, Perry allegedly racked the slide on her firearm and began to raise her arm to point the firearm at Victim #3. The male subject then reportedly lowered her arm with his hand. Perry and the male subject then fled the scene.

When located, Perry will be arrested on charges of aggravated battery and aggravated assault with a firearm.
