Person of Interest Sought for Questioning in NOPD Homicide Investigation

The NOPD is seeking to locate a person of interest for questioning regarding a homicide that occurred on August 29, 2020 in the 3600 block of Texas Drive.

James Anthony Pearson (pictured, DOB: 06-15-1955) has been developed as a person of interest in this investigation. Pearson is not wanted on criminal charges at this time. However, detectives feel he may have knowledge of information vital to the investigation and wish to question him.

In addition, Pearson is sought for a DNA buccal swab in this investigation.
