Suspect Wanted for Bicycle Theft on Girod Street

The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in locating a suspect who is wanted in connection with a bicycle theft that occurred in the Eighth District.

The reporting person told police that he parked his orange 2018 Santa Cruz mountain bicycle, bearing serial number PS1712P10635MC, on a public bike rack located in the 700 block of Girod Street. The pictured subject allegedly removed the victim’s bicycle and fled the scene.

The subject is described as a white male, approximately 5’7” tall, approximately 160 pounds with brown hair and tattoos on both arms and neck. He was last seen wearing a black and white sleeveless shirt, blue jeans, black/white tennis shoes and a black backpack.
