Suspect Sought in Auto Burglary on Union Street

The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in locating the pictured subject after his alleged involvement in an auto burglary that occurred in the Eighth District.

The victim told police that she parked her vehicle in the 800 block of Union Street at or around 10 p.m. on September 11, 2018. Upon returning to the vehicle at or around 8 a.m. the next day, the victim discovered her right rear window was smashed and several items were reported missing from the interior of the vehicle.

During the course of the investigation, the above pictured subject was identified as the perpetrator who committed the auto burglary. The subject fled the scene on foot, heading southbound on Union Street toward Carondelet Street.
