Suspect Identified in Aggravated Assault on Freret Street

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Leonard Lewis (DOB: 01-14-1984) in connection with an aggravated assault incident that occurred on September 1, 2018 in the 2200 block of Freret Street.

At approximately 12:31 a.m., Lewis allegedly produced a semi-auto handgun and threatened to use it on the victim. 

Anyone with information on this incident or regarding the whereabouts of Leonard Lewis is asked to contact NOPD Sixth District detectives at 504-658-6060 or call anonymously to Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111 or toll-free at 1-877-903-STOP.
