NOPD Searches for Vehicle Stolen from the Fourth District

The NOPD is searching for a vehicle reported as stolen from the Fourth District.

On Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at approximately 11:20 p.m., the victim reportedly parked his vehicle in the 1600 block of Lauradale Drive, possibly leaving it unlocked. On Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at approximately 3 a.m., he went to retrieve an item from the vehicle and discovered it missing. A spare key was located inside of the glove compartment of the victim’s vehicle.

The vehicle is described as a black 2018 Honda Accord sport edition with a Louisiana license plate 741BCR. There is no tint on vehicle but it has tree-shaped and gorilla shaped air fresheners hanging from the rearview mirror.

A picture is included of a vehicle similar to, but not the actual vehicle stolen in this incident.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the stolen vehicle is asked to contact Detective Stephanie Gray or any Fourth District detective at 504-685-6040 or 504-658-6045 or call Crimestoppers anonymously at 504-822-1111 and toll-free at 1-877-903-7867.
