NOPD Identifies Suspect in Shooting on Chimney Wood Lane

The NOPD has obtained a warrant for RasDaniel Charles (DOB: 10-13-1997) in connection with a shooting that occurred on September 23, 2018 in the 1700 block of Chimney Wood Lane.

At about 4:10 p.m., NOPD Seventh District officers responded to a call of an aggravated battery by shooting in the block. The victim was found to have sustained a single gunshot to the right leg and was driven to an area hospital via private conveyance.

Through the course of the investigation, Charles was identified as the person responsible for shooting the victim, and a warrant was obtained for Charles’ arrest for aggravated battery by shooting.
