NOPD Arrests One Subject, Searches for Second in Seventh District Homicide

The NOPD has arrested one subject and is still searching for a second in connection with the fatal shooting of a 58-year-old man in the Seventh District.

 

Farnell Jackson, Jr. (B/M DOB: 10-21-1999) was arrested and charged with second-degree murder for the fatal shooting that occurred around 1:20 a.m. on September 18, 2018 in the 7200 block of Hayne Boulevard during a robbery.

 

Jackson turned himself in at the Fourth District station after seeing photos of himself published in several local media reports.

 

NOPD is still searching for the second subject (pictured on the left above) wanted in connection with this crime.
