Suspects Wanted for Armed Robbery on Michoud Boulevard

The NOPD Seventh District is seeking assistance from the public in locating and identifying three suspects after they reportedly robbed a Family Dollar store today (Sept. 20) in the 4500 block of Michoud Boulevard.

At approximately 10:30 a.m., three unknown subjects entered the Family Dollar store one at a time and began collecting merchandise in the store. They then started exiting the store with no attempts to pay for the items. When the manager attempted to stop the subjects from shoplifting, one of the subjects then raised their shirt, implied they had a weapon and threatened to stab the manager before fleeing the location with the items.

The suspects fled in a vehicle that was later discovered to have been reported stolen this month. The vehicle is described as a 2012 white Ford Escape bearing New Mexico license plate #MAF517.

If you have any information regarding the incident or pictured suspects, please contact any Seventh District Investigative Unit (DIU) detective at 504-658-6077, 504-658-6070 or anonymously to CrimeStoppers at 504-822-1111 or toll free at 1-877-903-7867.
