The Sixth District in conjunction with the Louisiana Office of Probation and Parole and the U. S. Marshals Services conducted a probation, parole and compliance check during the early morning hours of Wednesday, September 27, 2017 and Thursday, September 28, 2017.
As a result of these checks, the following arrests were made:
- 8 Felony Arrests
- 2 Misdemeanor Arrests
- 8 Municipal Arrests
Out of the total number of arrests, Joshua Harris (DOB: 4-30-1984) and Georgeka Holmes (DOB: 7-19-1987) were found to be in possession of ecstasy, heroin, crack cocaine, more $1500 in cash and a firearm during the check.
They were arrested and booked with the following charges below:
- Felon in Possession of A Firearm (Sig Sauer .40 Cal., Model 2022)
- Illegal Carrying of a Firearm While In Possession of Narcotics
- Possession with the Intent to Distribute Heroin 3.9 Grams
- Possession with the Intent to Distribute Powder and Crack Cocaine 17 Grams
- Possession with the Intent to Distribute Ecstasy 503.1 Grams (1722 Pills)
