NOPD Seeking Two Suspects in Theft of Vehicle from George Nick Conner Street

The NOPD is looking for two individuals in connection with a stolen vehicle, narcotics and a firearm.

A little before 8 p.m. on September 20, 2016, officers attempted to perform a traffic stop on a black Nissan Altima at the intersection of Louisiana Avenue and South Galvez Street. The driver refused to stop and fled the scene. The officers later located the still-running vehicle abandoned in a vacant lot at South Johnson and First streets. A revolver and narcotics were found inside of the vehicle, which was reported stolen from the 2800 block of George Nick Conner Street on September 13.

The subsequent investigation resulted in officers determining that the two suspects pictured below had been inside of the vehicle earlier that day.

Anyone with information regarding these two individuals is asked to contact Second District detectives at 504-658-6020. Citizens with information that can help solve crimes are asked to call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111 or toll-free at 1-877-903-STOP.
