New Orleans Police are asking the public's assistance with locating a suspect wanted for theft by fraud.
Wanted is Ashleigh Sosa (pictured), White female, DOB 06/02/1987.
According to investigators, on September 3, 2026 the victim discovered he had lost his wallet, apparently through being pickpocketed. Later on the same date, his bank card was fraudulently used to make unauthorized transactions. Through investigation, detectives confirmed Ashleigh Sosa had made the unauthorized transactions. A warrant is on file for her arrest.
All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
