The NOPD is requesting assistance in locating a vehicle of interest and its occupant(s) in the investigation of a homicide that occurred on September 17, 2023, in the 3700 block of Garden Oaks Drive.
At about 12:03 p.m. on September 17, NOPD Fourth District officers responded to a reported shooting in the 3700 block of Garden Oaks Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered an unresponsive male gunshot wound victim inside of a vehicle. The victim was declared deceased on scene and the incident was reclassified as a homicide.
During the investigation, NOPD Homicide Unit detectives determined that the pictures vehicle was utilized in the commission of this incident. The vehicle is believed to possibly be a 2018 Kia Soul.
