The NOPD is asking for help in identifying and locating a suspect wanted in connection with a theft.
On October 28, 2023 at about 2:30 p.m., the pictured subject allegedly committed a theft in the 3700 block of Iberville Street.
The victim was seated outside of a restaurant with their purse lying on the ground next to the table. An unknown subject snatched the victim’s purse from the ground and fled inside of the Silver small Hyundai sedan pictured above.
The vehicle was last observed fleeing westbound on Telemachus Street toward Canal Street. The vehicle was driven by a second unknown subject.
The vehicle has one silver colored hubcap on the front passenger side, a large dent on the rear driver side quarter panel, and missing window trim on the driver side rear door.
