The NOPD has arrested a subject wanted in a series of residential burglaries in the Fourth District.
Alvin Bean (Black male, DOB: 02/28/1969), was arrested on October 6, 2023 after officers responded to a call of a suspicious person in 400 block of Thayer Street.
Upon locating Bean, Fourth District officers found that he had an active arrest warrant for a simple burglary. Through investigation, detectives learned that Bean was allegedly responsible for a series of other burglaries and thefts in the Fourth District.
He was subsequently booked on Eight counts relative to simple burglary, Ten counts relative to theft, two counts of simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling and one count of attempted simple burglary. He was booked accordingly into the Orleans Parish Justice Center.
