NOPD Seeking Persons of Interest for Questioning in Traffic Fatality Investigation

The NOPD is seeking assistance in locating two persons of interest for questioning in the ongoing investigation of a hit-and-run traffic fatality that occurred on August 20, 2022, at the intersection of South I-10 Service Road and Tara Lane.

Through investigation, NOPD Traffic Fatality Unit investigators have developed  Kenneth Jessemy (pictured to left, black male, DOB: 03-19-1987) and Courtney Raines (pictured to right, black female, DOB: 11-25-1990) as persons of interest. These subjects are not currently wanted on criminal charges in this investigation. However, detectives feel that they may have knowledge of information vital to the investigation and wish to interview them.
