NOPD Seeking Person of Interest for Questioning in Homicide Investigation

The NOPD is seeking assistance in locating a subject identified as a person of interest for questioning in the ongoing investigation of a homicide on September 19, 2021 in the 3900 block of Tulane Avenue.

Through investigation, NOPD Homicide Unit detectives have identified Gregory Jynes (pictured, black male, DOB: 03-27-1989) as a person of interest in this case. Jynes is not currently wanted on criminal charges. However, detectives feel he has knowledge of information vital to this investigation and wish to question him.
