The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Michell Marie Williams (pictured, black female, DOB: 05-09-1979) for allegedly filing a false police report on August 11, 2021 in the Fourth District.
On the aforementioned date, Williams filed a police report claiming to be the victim of an armed carjacking, with the vehicle she had been operating taken during the incident. Through evidence collected during the investigation, this claim was found to be fraudulent.
When located, Williams will be arrested and booked with injuring public records and insurance fraud.
