NOPD Announces Violent Crime Arrests, Clearances Between October 10-16

Listed below are arrests or clearances by warrant obtained between October 10-16, 2021 in violent crime investigations by the NOPD:

 

Homicide

  • On October 12, the NOPD’s Violent Offender Warrant Squad and the U.S. Marshals arrested Wilbert Jefferson (photo not available, black male, DOB: 12-18-1992) for one count each of second-degree murder and attempted second-degree murder. The incident occurred in the 2200 block of Allen Street on August 9.
  • On October 13, NOPD’s Violent Offender Warrant Squad and the U.S. Marshals arrested Nairobi K. Davis (pictured at l, black male, DOB; 04-07-1999) for two counts of second-degree murder and two counts of attempted second-degree murder. The incident occurred in the 600 block of General Taylor Street on Oct. 6.
  • On October 16, the NOPD arrested Ulysses J. Thomas Sr. (pictured, black male, DOB: 12-21-1987) for principle to second-degree murder. The incident occurred in the 4300 block of Tchoupitoulas Street on September 20.

 

Armed Robbery

  • On October 11, NOPD Seventh District officers arrested a 16-year-old juvenile male and a 14-year-old male for armed robbery and also arrested a 15-year-old juvenile male and a 14-year-old juvenile male (suspects not pictured) for possession of stolen things. The incident occurred in the 9700 block of Chef Menteur Highway on October 11.
  • On October 11, NOPD Fourth District officers arrested a 11-year-old juvenile and a 14-year-old juvenile for armed robbery (suspects not pictured). The incident occurred in the 3300 block of Garden Oaks Drive on October 11.
