Suspect Sought in Fourth District Armed Robbery

The NOPD is requesting assistance from the public in identifying and locating a suspect in the investigation of an armed robbery on October 5, 2020 in the 2900 block of General DeGaulle Drive.

The pictured subject allegedly entered a local business, approached store employees and produced a gun and demanded money from the store registers. The employees complied and the suspect fled the location on foot.

The subject is described as a black male, standing approximately 6’1” to 6’2” and weighing about 160-175 pounds with a slim build, facial hair and a dreadlocked hairstyle that hung to the lower part of his back.  He was last seen wearing a red medical mask over his face, a black hooded sweatshirt with front pockets, red undershirt, dark-colored green pants, white gloves, and black tennis shoes.
