Person of Interest Sought for Questioning in NOPD Homicide Investigation

The NOPD is seeking to locate a subject identified as a person of interest in the investigation of a homicide on November 20, 2018 at the intersection of St. James and Religious Streets.

Through investigation, NOPD Homicide Unit detectives have identified Hassan K. Carline (pictured, DOB: 04-06-1995) as a person of interest in this investigation. Carline is not wanted on criminal charges at this time. However, detectives feel he has knowledge of information vital to the investigation and wish to question him. Carline’s last known residence was listed in Baton Rouge, La.
