NOPD Arrests Suspects for Drug Possession, Distribution Charges in Sixth District

The NOPD has arrested Lecour Davis (pictured at left, male, DOB: 09-10-1981) and Patrick Thompson (pictured at right, male, DOB: 11-21-1963) in an investigation involving illegal drug possession and distribution.

Today (October 13, 2020), NOPD Sixth District detectives along with members of the NOPD’s Special Operations Unit Violent Crime Abatement Investigation Team (VCAIT) served a simultaneous search warrant at Davis’ and Thompson’s respective residences in the Sixth District. During execution of these warrants, items were recovered including reported stolen clothing, a handgun, approximately $13,000 in U.S. currency, crack cocaine, marijuana, heroin and items commonly used in the distribution of the aforementioned illegal substances.

Davis was booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center for possession with the intent to distribute crack cocaine and possession of stolen property.

Thompson was booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center for possession with the intent to distribute crack cocaine, heroin and marijuana.
