The NOPD arrested William Holmes (pictured, DOB: 06-03-1965) in the investigation of a theft from the exterior of a vehicle on October 8, 2019.

The incident occurred in the 300 block of Loyola Avenue, where officers responded to an unknown black male reportedly peering into vehicle windows in the area. The subject, later identified as Holmes, was allegedly seen by officers to enter the rear truck bed of the victim’s vehicle and take bottled water. Holmes was apprehended without incident, arrested and booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center accordingly.
