NOPD Arrests One, Seeks Two Suspects in Second District Simple Robbery

The NOPD arrested Brian Anderson (DOB: 11-08-1971) and is seeking two additional suspects in a simple robbery incident that occurred in the 700 block of South Carrollton Avenue on September 26, 2019.

At around 7:03 p.m., the pictured subjects were seen entering a Walgreens pharmacy and rushing past the front counter, where an employee was assisting customers. The suspects then reportedly filled duffel bags and a pillowcase with numerous packs of cigarettes before fleeing the scene.

During this investigation, Anderson was positively identified as one of the suspects. Anderson was arrested on September 29 in the 600 block of Broadway Avenue. Anderson was arrested and booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center for two counts each of simple robbery and theft.

The identities of the other two suspects in this incident remain unknown, and the suspects remain at large. The suspect pictured with a blue shirt and New Orleans Saints in one photo is reported to walk with a limp.

Anyone with additional information on this incident or the two at-large suspects is asked to contact NOPD Second District detectives at 504-658-6020, or to call anonymously to Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111 or toll-free at  1-877-903-STOP (7867).
