Suspect Sought in Aggravated Battery on Garden Oaks Drive

NOPD Officers are seeking assistance from the public in locating Tasha Hayes (DOB: 01/02/1980), who is wanted for her alleged involvement in an aggravated battery incident that occurred in the 3500 block of Garden Oaks Drive.

The reporting person told police that on October 28, 2018, at or around 1:15 p.m., she was sitting at the bus stop when the pictured subject arrived in a black Dodge Charger. Hayes allegedly exited the vehicle, approached the victim and began a physical altercation. 

The subject reportedly retrieved a small metal baseball bat from the trunk of the vehicle, approached the victim and struck her in the head with the bat, then fled the scene.  The victim sustained a laceration to the head and was treated on scene by New Orleans Emergency Medical Services.
