NOPD Seeking Vehicle of Interest in Shooting in Fourth District

The NOPD is seeking to locate a vehicle of interest in relations with an aggravated battery by shooting incident that occurred on October 1, 2018 near the intersection of General Meyer Avenue and Flanders Street, as well as the vehicle’s occupant(s).

At about 11:30 a.m., NOPD Fourth District officers responded to the area for a reported shooting. In review of surveillance video, detectives discovered the vehicle pictured above pulled alongside the victim's vehicle, and gunshots were fired from the silver vehicle at the victim’s vehicle.  The vehicle is described as a gray or silver Acura with dark tinted windows and an unknown license plate.
