NOPD Searching for Suspects, Vehicle in Third District Armed Robbery

The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in identifying and locating two suspects believed to be responsible for an armed robbery incident that occurred today (Oct. 31, 2018) in the 2000 block of Lakeshore Drive, as well as a vehicle believed to have been used by the suspects.

At about 1:00 p.m., the two pictured subjects allegedly forced their way into the victim’s apartment at gunpoint and then to his vehicle. The suspects then demanded the victim to drive to an ATM and withdraw money. The victim complied and, upon return to the victim’s apartment complex, the two suspects fled the scene in possession of cash and the victim’s iPhone in another vehicle, the pictured black four-door Chevrolet Malibu bearing temporary license tag number 08114T2.

One of the suspects is described as a black female standing approximately 5’4” and weighing about 180 pounds wearing a black zip-up hooded sweatshirt with the hood over her head and gray sweat pants, armed with a handgun. The second suspect is described as a black male standing approximately 5’8” and weighing about 145 pounds, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and dark blue jeans.

Anyone with information on this incident, the pictured suspects or the pictured vehicle is asked to contact NOPD Third District detectives at 504-658-6030 or call anonymously to Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111 or toll-free at 1-877-903-STOP.
