The NOPD is searching for a subject wanted in connection with an aggravated battery by shooting in the Sixth District.
The incident occurred on Thursday, October 11, 2018, around 11:19 p.m. in the 3000 block of Earhart Boulevard.
Through the course of the investigation, it is believed that Jonathan Smith (B/M DOB: 7/22/1991) was driven to the location by a known subject. Smith reportedly became involved in a verbal altercation with a subject who was already at the location. Smith then allegedly produced a firearm and shot at the victim multiple times, striking him once.
