NOPD Arrests Suspect in in 2014 Sixth District Homicide

The NOPD has arrested Michael Angeletta, (B/M DOB: 1/28/1983) as a suspect in a homicide that occurred in the Sixth District in 2014.

The incident occurred on March 4, 2014 in the 1300 block of Port of Orleans Place (Mardi Gras World).

When officers arrived, they discovered two male victims lying in a parking lot suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Both victims died as a result of their injuries.

Through investigation, detectives developed Angeletta as a suspect. Angeletta was located today by NOPD Special Operations Division officers at the intersection of Common and Carondelet streets. He will be booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center for second degree murder.
