The NOPD First District is seeking assistance in locating Alfonso “Ace” Cataldi (DOB: 08/13/1992) who is wanted for aggravated battery after he reportedly struck a man several times in the face and head causing injuries.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Poydras Street and S. Claiborne Avenue. At about 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct.18, the suspect and the victim were involved in a verbal altercation inside of the victim’s vehicle. Following the altercation, the suspect grabbed an object from the passenger side visor and assaulted the victim. Cataldi exited the vehicle and fled the scene in an unknown direction. The suspect was last seen wearing blue jeans, a blue shirt and was carrying a blue backpack.
