The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in identifying and locating the below pictured suspect after he was seen snatching a woman’s purse near Gentilly Boulevard and Elysian Fields Avenue.
The incident happened on October 2, 2017. At around 8:16 a.m., an unknown black male subject snatched the victim’s purse off of her shoulder while inside of an RTA bus. The suspect then fled the location on foot. The victim told police her purse contained her and her husband’s passports and cash.
