NOPD Searching for Subjects in an Armed Robbery

The NOPD is searching for two people accused of committing a robbery while implying they had a weapon.

On October 19, 2017 around 7:55 p.m., the victim was walking down the stairs in a parking garage located in the 800 block of Iberville Street.

Upon reaching the first floor, the victim observed two subjects at the exit door.

One subject grabbed her cellphone and stated “let go or I am going to shoot you.”

The above pictured subject also grabbed her purse and threw it to the second subject.

The victim let go of her phone and the second subject dropped her purse on the ground after rummaging through it.

Both perpetrators then fled the location.

One subject, pictured above, was dressed in a grey hoodie, black pants and carrying a large red backpack.

Anyone with information on this incident asked to call any Eight District Detective at 504-658-6080, or contact Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111.
