The NOPD is looking for a vehicle stolen in the commission of an armed carjacking at the intersection of Poland Avenue and North Rampart Street on October 16, 2016.

The victims told police that at about midnight, they were walking to their vehicle – a 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer car bearing Louisiana license plate # VRA087 – when they were approached by six unknown black males at the intersection. One of the males produced a semi-automatic handgun and demanded the victims to give him the keys to the vehicle. The victims gave the keys to the subject with the gun and then ran to the 4300 block of Saint Claude Avenue. The victims noticed their vehicle traveling north bound on Poland Avenue, then west bound on Saint Claude Avenue with the male subjects inside.
