NEW ORLEANS – NOPD Sixth District detectives are searching for a vehicle believed to be involved with an attempted armed robbery that occurred on October 8, 2016, in the 2000 block of Magazine Street.
At about 4:26 a.m., the victim was sitting in her vehicle when a white two-door pickup truck with an extended bed pulled up behind her vehicle and parked. Then, the victim told police, two unknown Asian males exited the truck and attempted to rob her at gunpoint. After the unsuccessful attempt, the perpetrators returned to the truck and fled the scene heading north on St. Mary Street.
